Thuja is a type of fine wood used to make high-quality handle scales and Valuable wood crafts. This watch dial is made from rare Thuja wood. The wood does not come from the tree but it’s root ball or burl. The root is gathered after the tree dies. Hard to find....dug up by hand....only real craftsman are trusted to work with it due to its value... and Beautiful to look at.
